Electronic payments are required if your business had $10,000 or more in one of the following MN taxes or fees within the 12 month calendar year:
Sales and use; Corporation estimated; Withholding; MinnesotaCare; Surplus lines insurance; Alcohol; Cigarette; Tobacco; Nonresident Entertainer; Sum of all insurance taxes and surcharges
If you have at least one Minnesota tax ID number associated with an FEIN that requires electronic filing, you must file all your Minnesota business taxes for all your Minnesota tax ID numbers electronically.
